Dana John Heimbecker, B. A.
Dana has been involved in the study of human movement throughout his life. He was exposed to Martial Arts at a young age, which later lead to a NCAA Division 1 soccer scholarship at Marshall University where he obtained a B. A. in Sports Management. Following Marshall University, Dana’s training continued in Europe where he pursued a professional soccer career. Playing at a professional level gave him the advantage when pursuing a career as a Strength and Conditioning Educator because not only did he have extensive knowledge in the area but he had personal experience to provide to students as well. Dana holds different certifications from NSCA, Mov-Nat, Yandara Yoga, and USA Weightlifting. Dana currently works as a Strength and Conditioning Educator for the Niagara Ice Dogs (OHL), where he works closely with professional, collegiate and amateur athletes. Dana also currently works as Head Coordinator of Athletic Development for No Limit Performance based out of Niagara-On-The- Lake, Ontario. In his current role, he is heavily involved in youth athletic development, providing weekly classes and personal sessions to aspirating athletes who seek professional careers in their sport. Dana is heavily involved in the FRCms curriculum as an FRC Instructor and Master Kinstretch Instructor. Dana’s involvement in this system has refined his training approach immensely as he provides a unique and disciplined approach to all his students. His data base of knowledge is continuously growing in all areas of health and wellness adding to his distinctiveness as an educator.
